Support that looks at the whole picture - not just the food
Struggling with food can feel incredibly isolating — but you don’t have to face it alone. Whether you’ve been diagnosed with an eating disorder, are worried about your eating habits, or feel like food and body image are taking up too much space in your life, support is available.

Eating disorders are complex — they’re not just about weight, appearance, or food itself. They often develop as a way of coping with emotional distress, anxiety, trauma, or a deep need for control or safety. While food behaviours may be the most visible part, the underlying causes are far more layered — and deeply human.
Disordered eating exists on a spectrum. You might not have a diagnosis, but still find yourself stuck in cycles of restriction, bingeing, emotional eating, or obsessing over food and body image. Perhaps you feel guilty after eating, find it hard to eat in front of others, or live with a constant inner critic around how you look. These experiences are valid and deserving of support.

Many people live with these struggles quietly for years — often high-functioning on the outside, while feeling chaotic or ashamed on the inside. You don’t have to reach a crisis point to seek help. Early support can make a huge difference.

I specialise in working with eating disorders and disordered eating. I’m a qualified integrative counsellor, and a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders. I also hold an Advanced Diploma in Eating Disorders and Obesity, and a Certificate in Nutritional Skills for Eating Disorders — all through the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED).

But more than that, I understand this work from the inside. I’ve lived with disordered eating for much of my life, and my journey into this field began when I supported a family member through bulimia. That experience was a turning point — I realised how much misinformation was out there, how hard it was to find compassionate, informed support, and how important it is to treat the whole person, not just the behaviour.
